SIS provided a complete range of project management and systems integration services to successfully implement the County’s Financial Management System (FMS) using Oracle’s web-based 11i Public Sector Applications as the foundation software product. Clark County is one of the fastest growing, and one of the largest counties in the State of Washington, with 28 departments and over 1,600 employees.

FMS was implemented on a County-wide basis in a 3-tiered web-enabled environment running on an HP UNIX server in a Windows 2000 network environment.

FMS is the end result of a major re-engineering effort in the County that incorporates the County’s vision for business efficiency with new technologies that support the administrative needs of the County well into the next century.

SIS was the prime contractor for the implementation and supported the

County with a full complement of implementation services covering all aspects of an ERP System implementation including:
System installation
Implementation analysis
Training
Set-Up and Configuration
Interface development
Conversion
Implementation
Post Implementation Support
Project management.

Oracle modules implemented by SIS include General Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project/Grants and Fixed Assets along with several “self-service” capabilities. FMS was moved to production operations on November 2002.

SIS was subsequently selected by the County for implementation of Oracle payroll/human resources modules in a second phase of the FMS project

The remaining HRMS components included Oracle HR, Payroll, Time and Labor, Advanced Benefits and was successfully brought into production operations in January, 2005. Today the County now has in place a fully operational ERP System that has automated and streamlined all the business and administrative management needs of the County.
