SIS provided a range of
project management and systems
integration services to successfully
implement the County's Business
Applications System (BAS) using Oracle
Government Financials(OGF) as the
foundation software product. Waukesha
County is the fastest growing, and and
one of the largest counties in the state
of Wisconsin, with 28 departments and
over 1,500 employees. OFG was implemented
on a County-wide basis in a 3-tiered
client-server environment running on a
IBM RS/6000 UNIX server in a MS Windows
3.1 and Windows NT Environment. BAS is the end result of
a major re-engineering effort in the
County that incorporates the
Countys vision for business
effiency with new technologies that
support the County well into the nest
century. SIS supported the County with a
full compliment of implementation
services covering all aspects of system
installation, training, customization,
interface, development, conversion
planning, and execution, and overall
project management . OGF modules
implemented by SIS include: General
Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and
Fixed Assets in Phase I; with A/R and
Project Accounting in Phase II; and
Budget Preparation scheduled for Phase
III.
