SIS implemented Oracle Government Financials for the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC). This client is one of the largest community colleges in the nation, with seven campuses serving over 200,000 students. OCF was implemented in a client-server 3-tiered environment running on a DEC-Alpha, UNIX and MS Windows environment.

SIS provided a broad range of implementation services covering all aspects of system installation, training, customization, interface development, conversation planning and execution, and overall project management. The specific OGF modules implemented by SIS include General Ledger (including chart of accounts, organizational/cost enter establishment), Purchasing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, Project Accounting, and Grants Accounting.

This project also involved the creation of a detailed requirements analysis associated with the incorporation of imaging technology into the CCC. SIS developed a detailed implementation plan for the incorporation of this technology, including the identification of hardware requirements, selection of imaging software, and was responsible for the implementation of this imaging solution.

SIS managed the overall effort and has coordinated the efforts of SIS’ staff and the key staff resources of the CCC. SIS was responsible for all aspects of the implementation of this packaged application software and database.
